My name is Christian Vargas but you can call me Jerzy, I'm a 3rd generation barber born in New Jersey who loves art, music, and style. I'm driven, ambitious, and very passionate about my craft. I started cutting hair as ateenager as a hobby, and I never stopped. I do have to thank my wife (Kalyn) for pushing me to go back to school and earn my barbers license, which I've had for nearly a decade.
It's the best feeling when I get to see the confidence boost, the smile, and the excitement from my clients when they look in the mirror after I'm done. This is one of the biggest reasons I love what I do but barbering to me is more than cutting hair. It's about the bond you build with your clients and co-workers over the years, eventually turning into not only friendships, but becoming family. I take a lot of pride in my work and being able to pass down what I've learned over the years is to me, to be a barber!
I love the long and rich history of barbering as well as where I see it going in the future, from the classic cuts to being a trendsetter. I'm always pushing and educating myslef to become better every day.
Giving back and supporting this great community here in Venice, as well as other small and local businesses is also very important to me.
It's funny to think that something like a haircut could completely change the way you see yourself and that's pretty amazing!

My name is Vinny Oliveri. I am originally from upstate NY and have lived in Florida since 2012.
Aside from getting married to my beautiful wife Claire, becoming a barber in 2021 was the best decision I had ever made for myself.
When I was in school I used to want to be an artist. Whether that was working for Disney or Nike, I just wanted to be in an industry where I could let my creative side thrive.
I love this industry so much because I get to do that every day. All of you keep me interested and challenged with every haircut.
Seeing the smile on someone’s face after they get a haircut is why we do this. The reason we become barbers is to change people lives. It’s not just a haircut appointment.
It’s a good conversation, a potential friendship built, and then a good haircut to top it off. I hope to give you all of those things when you sit with me.

My name is Julio, born in the Dominican Republic and I am bilingual.
I was blessed with the opportunity to play professional baseball with the Baltimore Orioles for five years. Unfortunately, a leg injury brought my baseball career to an unexpected end.
But what felt like the end of one dream became the beginning of another.
During my baseball career, I was always the one cutting my teammates hair. After my injury, I Decided to take barbering seriously and study the craft. I quickly fell in love with it and barbering gave me a new opportunity to express my talent and purpose.
To me, a haircut is more than just a haircut, its art, confidence, and transformation. I love helping people look their best, feel more confident, and leave my chair feeling like a better version of themselves.
Every client is important to me. I give my best every day to create an experience where you get exactly what you came looking for or even better than you imagined.
Im grateful for every person who supports me, trusts me, and chooses to sit in my chair.

My name is Max and I'm definitely not a native.
My story begins inVancouver, Washington. I made my to Florida in 2021, never really knowing just how much this place and the life id build here would come to mean to me.
My career started in construction but ive always been drawn to creating something with my own two hands. I love being able to take step back and see something I've created!
When my then girlfriend- now wife first stated dating, I found myself at a crossroads. Stick with what I knew or take a chance. Bet on myself and try something completely different. Deciding to take that leap was the best decision and it lead me to Barbering.
I ended up discovering a craft that gave me a feeling I was chasing. Creating something from nothing and giving me a new kind of purpose. With my wife's and families support i've turned a career into my dream job that's brining me endless happiness, incredible opportunities, and a constant desire to learn, improve, and push myself to become the best version of me.

My names Matthew and I've been a licensed barber since 2024.
Becoming a barber has been a journey that I'm incredibly grateful for. My wonderful wife, Kristen, believed in me and encouraged me to go back to school and pursue something I was truly passionate about. Her support helped me find the confidence to take that leap and I genuinely wouldn't be doing what I love today without her.
Ive always loved the creative side of barbering, especially the little details that can take a haircut from good to great. I take a lot of pride in my razor work and enjoy the precision and craftsmanship that comes with it. For me, barbering is about more than just hair. I love making people feel good about themselves and leave my chair with a little more confidence than when they came in.
One of my favorite parts of being a barber is the people. Every person, every story and I feel pretty lucky that my job lets me meet so many awesome people.
When I'm not behind the chair, you'll usually find me spending time with my wife, Kristin, and our three kids. Family means the world to me. I'm grateful to have a career that allows me to do what I love and still have time for the people I love most.
